Boat donation charity could convince people to help

I am interested about boat donation charity being a fellow sailor myself. I was referred to boatangel.org by people who I knew volunteered in their mercy ships. After understanding what this is all about, I was inspired to donate my boat as you see, I was planning to dispose of it but after hearing from a friend about their volunteer work on the mercy ships and their experience in it, I thought about giving up my boat for this charity. Hence this donate a boat program was certainly a better choice instead of selling it for scrap or just letting it rust in dock. I am really hoping doing such a thing can help inspire more people to participate in this cause as I have and now, I would also like to join their cause by volunteering to go with them since I have experience in ships too.
